I am frequently asked about the use of generic medications. In general, most patients do well with generic medications. I prescribe generic medications every day and I take generic medications myself as do my family members. However, they are not always identical to brand name medications. On this site, you can look up all of the generic manufacturers of any medication as well as finding detailed information regarding the data on any name brand or generic information.
