In the spring of 2023, I got interested in "traditional wet shaving" - using the old style single blade double edge safety razors instead of puchasing the expensive and horrible for the environment cartridge style razor blades. This turned into a bit of an obsessive hobby collecting a variety of razors, brushes, lathering bowls, shave soaps, aftershaves, etc.
In the spring of 2024, decided to take a woodturning class to learn how to use a lathe. I also learned about pouring resin and began to make my own shave brush handles out of wood or resin.
